In order to build a catchment potential model, it was necessary to consolidate data provided by the institution (internal variables) and geographic data from external sources (external variables – Abacus and Telco).

A humanitarian institution that operates nationwide needed to manage and monitor its public activity to improve its performance.

Methodology and source of data

Abacus Consulting ddeveloped a probability model to estimate the recruitment potential of an area, in which it was not enough to know the characteristics of the partners, since the environment in whichit is located plays a fundamental role in the success or failure of the same.

The methodology used for the development of this business solution utilized internal variables provided by the institution (age, frequency, gender, status, quotas, seniority) and external variables about the environment (population, age, income, unemployment, spending, pedestrian traffic, competitors or points of interest).

  • The variables that may have the most bearing on uptake.

  • Possible non-linear relationships between variables.
  • Analyze models by segments to obtain greater accuracy in predictions.
